The “RIIMPO312E – Conduct scraper operations – RPL / Refresher” online course is designed to update and reinforce the skills and knowledge of individuals who have previously completed training or hold certification in conducting scraper operations. This refresher assessment covers key aspects such as safety procedures, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and operational techniques specific to a scraper used in various applications.
Participants will refresh essential topics including how to operate a scraper to load, haul and dump materials. Additionally, the course may include updates on industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices relevant to scraper operations.
Completing a set of theory questions, participants will have the opportunity to refresh their proficiency in operating scraper safely, efficiently, and effectively. Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) indicator prior to enrolling.
You must be able to provide sufficient evidence of prior recognised learning (RPL) in order to be able to gain a competent outcome. Minimum evidence includes, but does not limit the following:

- Take 5 / Slam Etc
- Pre-start machinery checklist
- Photo and/or video evidence of operating plant/machinery
- Training transcript from current and/or previous mine sites
- Signed letter of competency from Supervisor
- Previously issued Statement of Attainment (for Refresher pathway)
